Position: Security Officer
Location: Ndola, Copperbelt, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Gramus Express Limited is looking for a vigilant, honest, and disciplined Security Officer to join our security and loss prevention team in Ndola.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce access control policies at entrances and gates for staff, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections and verifications of all incoming and outgoing goods, materials, and dispatch trucks against gate passes.
- Patrol company premises, warehouses, and perimeter fences to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and fire hazards.
- Maintain accurate security logbooks, visitor registers, vehicle movement records, and key control systems.
- Investigate and report security breaches, suspicious behaviors, incidents, or irregularities promptly to management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with good English literacy.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant industrial, corporate, or commercial security experience.
- Solid knowledge of access control procedures, loss prevention, goods verification, and security incident reporting.
- Formal security training or certification is an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, physical fitness, discipline, and sobriety.
