Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple entities
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across the group
Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, and payroll
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities
Ensure compliance with SARS requirements including VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes in line with business strategy
Support management with financial insights and performance tracking
Lead year‑end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial operations
Provide ad‑hoc reporting and support for strategic projects
Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
Experience in a multi‑entity or group environment advantageous
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and South African tax legislation
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems (Sage, Xero, SAP, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
 
Qualification:
BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance OR Equivalent
