Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to design and deliver secure, compliant, and reusable cloud infrastructure components and developer enablement solutions. The successful candidate will work within a global team to build scalable platforms, improve development efficiency, and implement best-practice cloud and DevOps standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintainInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for Azure and/or AWSenvironments.
- Develop reusable, modular Terraformcomponents with proper state management, versioning, and environmentseparation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Package and manage Kubernetesdeployments, Helm charts, and developer deployment enablement.
- Implement secure secret managementand least-privilege access controls.
- Automate validation, testing, andstatic analysis for infrastructure (e.g., tfsec, Checkov, Terratest).
- Troubleshoot infrastructureprovisioning, cloud resource, and runtime issues.
- Produce technical documentation,runbooks, and onboarding materials.
- Collaborate with development teams totranslate requirements into reusable platform solutions.
- Work within Agile teams, participatein sprint activities, and mentor junior engineers.
- Monitor platform health using logging, metrics, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform,Ansible or similar)
- Scripting and automation (Bash,Python)
- Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Advantageous Skills
- Kubernetes and containerorchestration
- Programming languages such as Go orPython
- DevOps and platform engineeringpractices
- Test automation and infrastructuretesting
- Monitoring and troubleshooting incloud environments
- Development of reusable workflows andtemplates
- Interest in software architecture andhands-on development
- Exposure to AI tools or prompt engineering
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, orrelated field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8+ years' experience insoftware development, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
