Job Description
The Senior Data Architect is responsible for designing and managing enterprise data architecture in SAP environments. This includes data modelling, data migration, ETL processes, data quality, governance, and analytics integration. The role provides architectural leadership across projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Data-sphere data architectures
- Oversee data migration including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are maintained
- Integrate data solutions with analytics platforms such as SAC/BW
- Lead project data architecture and provide delivery leadership
Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere Certification (or equivalent)
- Proven leadership in data architecture and project delivery
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced, senior-level professional
- Ideally with Public Sector project experience
- Based in Cape Town or able to work locally
