Senior Food and Beverage Manager Jobs in Zambia Nemchem International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Food & Beverage Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our Food & Beverage operations across multiple locations in Zambia.

This full-time role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in hospitality management, particularly within high-volume or luxury hotel, resort, or lodge environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences while demonstrating flexibility to travel as needed.

About the Senior Food & Beverage Manager Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Senior Food & Beverage Manager will take full ownership of the performance and management of all Food & Beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, banqueting, catering, and room service.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational leadership skills who can maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, and compliance across diverse locations. Manage and oversee multiple F&B outlets, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction. Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs, service standards, and operational procedures.

Lead, train, and mentor F&B teams across various locations to enhance performance. Prepare staff schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

Monitor departmental budgets, revenue targets, and control costs, wastage, and expenses. Manage inventory, stock rotation, purchasing, and conduct regular stock audits.

Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and other departments to ensure seamless operations. Review menus, pricing strategies, promotions, and beverage offerings.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company standards. Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.

Identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective measures. Support openings, improvements, or restructuring of F&B operations at other company sites.

Travel as required to other company locations within Zambia for operational support and management. Qualifications and Experience Required Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related fields.

At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage operations with significant management responsibilities. Proven track record as a Senior F&B Manager, Hotel Operations Manager, or similar senior role.

Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels, resorts, lodges, or luxury properties is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability managing multiple outlets and large teams.

Strong expertise in budgeting, cost control, stock management, and profitability enhancement. Proficient in staff management, training, and performance evaluation.

Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory controls, and hospitality management software.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Travel Requirements This senior management role requires mobility across Zambia, including extended stays at different company sites as operational needs arise. Travel responsibilities include operational support, staff training, new outlet openings, audits, performance improvements, restructuring, and special events.
