Employment Information

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure project sites and produce accurate drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare construction drawings, shopfitting sketches, shop drawings, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Develop space planning layouts and functional interior solutions.
  • Create innovative interior design concepts, mood boards, finish schedules, and colour palettes within project budgets.
  • Specify furniture, finishes, fixtures, and décor items while compiling specification documents and project budgets.
  • Source materials, finishes, furniture, and decorative items from suppliers.
  • Present design concepts and proposals to clients and maintain strong client relationships throughout projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers to stay informed on new products, materials, and industry trends.
  • Conduct regular site visits, monitor project progress, and compile snag lists to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Maintain and update the materials and sample library while researching new design trends and products.
  • Ensure projects are completed within agreed deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Represent the organisation professionally in all client, supplier, and project interactions.
  • Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities where required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in commercial or corporate interiors.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with SketchUp, CorelDRAW, and other 3D rendering software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in space planning, technical drawings, furniture specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
