Senior IT Infrastructure Architect

• You will analyze market trends, determine overall design direction, and architect robust, secure, and compliant cloud and hybrid solutions. As a technical leader, you will collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure is resilient, efficient, and perfectly aligned with our long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Lead Cloud Initiatives: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, driving Vennote’s "cloud-first" strategy from conception to deployment.
• Component Design: Establish and set up all required components for successful cloud computing, including cloud adoption plans, application design, management, and monitoring frameworks.
• Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee application architecture in cloud environments and actively lead initiatives to refactor, migrate, or replace legacy applications with modern cloud-native solutions.
• Automated Provisioning: Standardize and provision repetitive cloud services using internal automation tools or external provider processes, ensuring organizational control is strictly maintained.

Infrastructure Governance, Risk & Security

• Governance Framework: Create and deliver a modern, comprehensive governance framework for enterprise cloud usage.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure and cloud solutions abide by industry regulatory requirements, compliance mandates, and internal security policies.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify risks posed by cloud and infrastructure services, building and maintaining a robust risk-mitigation-mapping matrix to safeguard business operations.
• Operational Control: Design a comprehensive set of enterprise management processes, tools, procedures, and integrations to ensure running systems are managed and controlled effectively.

Technology Evaluation & Innovation

• Market & Trend Analysis: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, marketplace experiences, and IT developments to identify their prospective impact on business growth.
• System Recommendation: Provide expert technical solutions, establish overall design direction, and provide hardware and software recommendations for complex technical challenges.
• Best Practices: Plan, develop, and optimize infrastructure support processes while adhering strictly to industry best practices.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure design, complex system integration, and enterprise-grade cloud management.
• Technical Depth: Proven track record of designing, integrating, and managing complex, highly available infrastructure solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Cloud Mastery: Deep understanding of cloud system design, infrastructure integration, application development practices, and cloud principles.
• Rapid Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend the functions, capabilities, and business value of new, disruptive technologies.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders.
