Senior Software Developer - Modernisation & Integration (C#)

Job Description

Join an established, customer-focused financial-services organisation modernising critical transaction platforms. The Microsoft-led environment is moving toward web-based, API-first services with multiple third-party integrations supporting essential business processes.
Performance objectives for year one

• Deliver production-ready C#/.NET 6 and MVC enhancements supporting priority business processes and web-platform modernisation.
• Design and optimise SQL Server and MySQL data-layer components, including stored procedures and SSIS work where required.
• Build and strengthen RESTful API and SOAP/WCF integrations with reliable XML and JSON handling.
• Improve stability and maintainability by resolving incidents at root cause and applying lasting fixes.
• Contribute well-tested releases through unit testing, code reviews, CI/DevOps practices and disciplined source control.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers and developers; maintain useful technical documentation and share knowledge.
