Senior Student Advisor

Location: Auckland Park, Johannesburg

Salary: R20 000 – R30 000 per month (depending on experience) + Annual Performance Incentive

Our client, a well-established organisation within the tertiary education sector, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Student Advisor to join their team in Auckland Park.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the recruitment journey, converting enquiries into applications and enrolments, and building strong relationships to achieve student recruitment targets. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with a passion for education and student success.

• Recruit prospective students and promote the institution's academic programmes.

• Convert enquiries into applications and successfully drive enrolments.

• Manage the full student recruitment cycle from initial enquiry through to registration.

• Follow up on leads and maintain a high conversion rate.

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, schools, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct career guidance and programme consultations.

• Attend career expos, school visits, open days, and recruitment events.

• Generate new business opportunities and identify new student recruitment channels.

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual enrolment targets.

• Maintain accurate records and sales activity on the CRM system.

• Produce regular sales and recruitment reports.

• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the student journey.

• Keep up to date with programme offerings, admission requirements, and industry trends.

• Previous experience as a Student Advisor, Student Recruitment Consultant, Admissions Advisor, or similar role within the tertiary education sector.

• Proven track record of converting enquiries into applications and enrolments.

• Strong sales and business development experience.

• Experience working towards and achieving recruitment or sales targets.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Highly organised with strong administrative and CRM skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport would be advantageous.
