Our client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SHEQ Officer to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Minimum 2–4 years’ relevant working experience in a SHEQ environment
- SACPCMP registration – non-negotiable
- Clear criminal record
- Relevant SHEQ qualification/certification advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance
- Good reporting, communication, and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Duties & Responsibilities:- Monitor and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
- Investigate incidents and compile reports
- Maintain SHEQ documentation and records
- Ensure staff adherence to safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of SHEQ systems
