Role Summary
- The Social Safeguards Specialist will lead all social assessments, stakeholder consultations, community engagement, gender and inclusion analysis, livelihood assessments, and social safeguard documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct socio-economic baseline studies.
- Design and facilitate stakeholder consultations.
- Lead community engagement activities.
- Prepare Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
- Develop Grievance Redress Mechanisms.
- Conduct gender and vulnerable group analysis. prepare social impact assessments.
- Support Resettlement Action Plan screening where required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Excellent report writing.
