About the Role:
Standards and Research Specialist Jobs in Lusaka As a Standards and Research Specialist at ZAQA, you will lead the development, review, and harmonisation of standards critical to the National Qualifications Framework. Your work will involve designing and conducting rigorous research studies that provide credible evidence to support Board decisions, inform policy development, and enhance the Authority’s evidence-based decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and harmonise standards within the NQF framework. Design and implement research projects that generate reliable data to inform policy and strategic decisions.
Prepare detailed analytical and technical reports to support Board approvals and policy formulation. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure standards meet national and international comparability requirements.
Qualifications and Experience Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised institution.
At least 4 years of professional experience in standards development, research, or monitoring and evaluation. Proven ability to write analytical and technical reports.
Strong communication skills in English. All qualifications below Grade 12 School Certificate and Bachelor’s Degree must be verified by ZAQA.
