Key Responsibilities
Stock Management & Inventory Control
- Issue
authorized stock items from storage for production in accordance with the
approved operational and production plans.
- Ensure
the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of all stock items.
- Maintain
effective control and accountability for all inventory held within the
Company's storage facilities.
- Ensure
stock software is updated promptly and accurately to reflect all stock
movements.
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise
closely with the Production Manager to ensure adequate stock availability
for production and timely replenishment of inventory.
- Coordinate
the timely preparation and dispatch of stock items to designated
production or operational locations.
- Report
stock-related issues, including shortages, overstock, damages, variances,
and suspected misappropriation, to the General Manager promptly.
Inventory Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor
inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while maintaining
minimum reorder levels.
- Prepare
and submit timely market lists based on approved stock requirements.
- Conduct
regular stock reconciliations and perform visual verification of kitchen
weighing records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate
and report all stock discrepancies, losses, or unusual variances, and
recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure
all stock handling, storage, and distribution activities comply with the
Company's health, safety, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Implement
effective stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO) to minimize waste and
prevent product expiration.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure
all storage facilities remain secure and that access is restricted to
authorized personnel.
- Implement
and enforce appropriate inventory control measures to safeguard Company
assets and prevent stock loss, theft, or misuse.
- Promptly
report any suspected fraud, theft, or stock misappropriation to
Management.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure
the timely availability of stock to support uninterrupted production and
business operations.
- Drive
continuous improvements in stock management processes to enhance
efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
- Maintain
a target of zero in-house product expiry through effective
inventory planning and stock management.
People Management
- Supervise,
coach, and develop Stores personnel to ensure high levels of productivity
and accountability.
- Allocate
duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with Company policies
and standard operating procedures.
- Identify
training needs and support the continuous development of team members.
- Foster
a culture of teamwork, discipline, safety, and continuous improvement
within the Stores Department.
Other Duties
- Perform
any other duties that may be assigned by the General Manager or Management
in support of the Company's operational objectives.
