Structural Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Structures team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of building projects including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.

Requirements:

·        BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering

·        5+ years’ experience in structural engineering

·        Registered with ECSA as a Candidate or Professional Engineer

·        Proficiency in Revit, Tekla, and Prokon

·        Experience in commercial building design

·        Strong communication and report-writing skills

·        Ability to work independently and within a professional team environment

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design and deliver structural engineering solutions for building projects

·        Attend client and project meetings and provide technical input

·        Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications

·        Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

·        Contribute to the successful execution of projects from concept to completion
