Superintendent III, Processing Technical Slag Flotation
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To provide professional Slag Flotation Plant technical services and advice, analysis, support and improvement suggestions and solutions in support of Concentrate and Tail Slag production. The incumbent ensures systems are operational and accurate data is collected, and the scope / portfolio of the role includes fault-finding, remedying situations and optimising processes.
You will have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering)
- Must have Mineral processing related majors
- 8 years' relevant experience in slag flotation or oxide flotation
- At least 2 year's supervisory and managerial experience
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.

- Supervise a world class Smelter function
- Deliver on the Construction & Trial Operation plan
- Collect and Analyse Slag Flotation Plant Data
- Provide Technical Support for all Processes
