Job Title: Supervisor (Underground Mining)

Report to: Operations

Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs experience)

Job Type: Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise underground maintenance and construction activities
• Coordinate boilermakers, riggers, welders, and assistants onsite
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety compliance
• Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to engineering standards
• Liaise with mine management and safety personnel
• Monitor productivity and report daily progress
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualification (Boilermaker preferred)
• Valid Red Ticket / Medical Fitness Certificate for underground mining
• Minimum 5 years underground mining experience
• Supervisory experience in underground operations
• Knowledge of underground safety procedures and mining regulations
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary underground teams
• Strong communication and planning skills

Mandatory Certifications:

• Valid Working at Heights Certificate
• Confined Space Certificate
• Power Tools Training Certificate
