In this role, you will make sure materials are available to meet production needs by planning stock, managing suppliers, and processing invoices. As a supply chain specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining material availability while considering supplier lead times, and inventory levels. Experience with supply chain planning, inventory and supplier management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, forecasting and statistical analysis will be essential to your success.
To be considered, candidates must hold a Degree/NQF Level 7 in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent qualification). This role also requires 4–5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Planning position and computer literacy (SAP and advanced Excel preferred). Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required. Candidates must also be bilingual, detail-orientated, and able to manage their time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
