Sustainability Executive

Job Summary

The Sustainability Executive will support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s sustainability strategy with a strong focus on RSPO compliance, responsible sourcing, and ESG standards. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, certification standards, and best practices across operations and the supply chain.

Job Details

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of sustainability initiatives in line with Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil RSPO Principles & Criteria.
• Coordinate RSPO certification, surveillance audits, and recertification processes.
• Maintain RSPO documentation, traceability records, and supply chain models IP, SG, MB.
• Collect, analyze, and report sustainability and ESG data GHG, waste, water, sourcing.
• Support grievance management, risk assessments, and corrective action plans CAPs.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on sustainability matters.
• Prepare internal and external sustainability reports and dashboards.
• Support employee training and awareness on RSPO and sustainability standards.
• Assist in employee awareness and training programs on sustainability initiatives.
• Track sustainability KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
• Stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bsc in Environmental or related field
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Efficiency, Palm Plantation, or ESG consulting.
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, IFC Performance Standards, GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD, etc.
• Strong carbon accounting skills and emissions tracking capability.
• Experience in community relations and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of RSPO standards and sustainability practices in palm plantations advantageous.
• Very strong computer skills Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Additional sustainability training, certifications, or related experience is an added advantage
