TRANSFER SECRETARYLocated: TygervalleySalary: Negotiable A well-established and reputable law firm is seeking a Transfer Secretary with solid experience in mortgage-related conveyancing to join their dynamic team.

Minimum requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Transfer Secretary within a conveyancing environment
  • Proven experience handling mortgage-related transfers (including bond registrations and liaising with financial institutions)
  • Strong knowledge of Deeds Office procedures and transfer processes
  • Ability to manage files from inception to registration independently
  • Experience drafting and preparing transfer documentation and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
  • Familiarity with FICA compliance and related regulatory processes
  • Proficient in relevant conveyancing systems (e.g. Lexis Nexis, GhostPractice or similar) and MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, banks, and third parties
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
