About the role:
The Miner is responsible to achieve performance targets in sections, through planning, organizing, and control of day-to-day operations.
Minimum Qualifications Criteria
• National Senior Certificate (With Mathematics and English)
• Valid Blasting Certificate
• Gas Testing Certificate
• Competent A
• 5 years experience in underground gold mining

• Medically fit and able to work in challenging conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Experience and knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environment and relevant legislation

• Build capabilities of in-section personnel
• Conduct section inspections to eliminate risks
• Conform to legal and mining requirements
• Identify and implement best practices
• Coach and develop subordinates
• Execute administrative support work efficiently and accurately.
