Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly actuarial valuations
• Support IFRS 17 reporting and calculations
• Assist with statutory and embedded value reporting
• Conduct reserving and liability calculations
• Perform experience investigations and forecasting
• Develop and maintain actuarial models and reporting tools
• Extract, analyse, and validate data using SQL
• Prepare reports for regulatory and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate across Finance, Risk, and Product teams
• Ensure compliance with actuarial governance standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• Actuarial degree

Experience

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in life insurance
• Strong valuations and financial reporting experience
• IFRS 17 exposure essential
• Progress toward actuarial qualification advantageous

Skills

• Minimum 8 actuarial exams completed
• Strong SQL skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
