Company Description
The Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist is responsible for transforming raw footage and creative concepts into polished, on-brand video content for digital, social, broadcast and OOH platforms across PWA's client portfolio. The role combines technical editing craft with creative motion design — from cutting commercial films to building 2D/3D motion graphics, lower thirds, brand animations and end-frames. The role sits within Prodigious, PWA's regional content production studio, contributing to the delivery of 6,000+ pieces of content annually across 27 countries and 8 local languages.
Overview

  • On-time delivery of all assigned post-production briefs against agreed studio timelines.
  • Adherence to brand and technical QC standards — zero client-side technical rejects.
  • Productivity targets aligned to studio capacity planning (volume of edits/motion deliverables per month).
  • Client and internal stakeholder satisfaction scores on creative and craft quality.
  • Active contribution to template libraries and workflow efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital campaigns, TV commercials and internal communications.
  • Assemble rough cuts, fine cuts and final masters in line with creative briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Perform colour correction, colour grading and audio mixing/sweetening to broadcast-ready standards.
  • Conform and deliver assets in correct technical specs for multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, broadcast, OOH).

Motion Graphics & Animation

  • Design and animate 2D motion graphics, kinetic typography, lower thirds, transitions, logo stings and end-frames.
  • Support 3D / hybrid motion design where required, working alongside the 3D Artist.
  • Create branded templates and reusable motion graphics packs to drive efficiency across recurring brand work.
  • Translate creative concepts and storyboards into compelling animated sequences.

Production Support & Collaboration

  • Partner with the Studio Producer, Creative Director and Content Lead on creative briefs, treatments and shoot planning.
  • Provide post-production estimates, timelines and technical guidance during pre-production.
  • Attend select shoots to advise on coverage, plate shots and assets needed for post.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers and account teams on revisions and client feedback.

Quality Control & Brand Compliance

  • Ensure all output meets PWA and client brand guidelines (visual identity, tone, legal/compliance).
  • QC every deliverable for technical accuracy: audio levels, aspect ratios, captions, frame rate, file format.
  • Manage version control and final approvals before client release.

Asset & Workflow Management

  • Organise project files, footage, graphics and final masters in line with the studio's DAM and naming conventions.
  • Archive completed projects to shared storage; maintain clean working drives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of post-production workflows, templates and shared resources.

Qualifications
Essential

  • 3–5 years' experience in video editing and motion graphics within an agency, production house or content studio environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Audition (or equivalent DAW).
  • Solid grasp of colour grading (DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Lumetri) and audio mixing fundamentals.
  • Strong visual storytelling, pacing and rhythm in edits.
  • Working understanding of 2D animation principles, kinetic typography and motion design.
  • Experience producing content for social-first formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) and broadcast (16:9).

Desirable

  • Exposure to Cinema 4D or other 3D tools for hybrid 2D/3D workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway, ElevenLabs).
  • Experience working on FMCG / multi-market campaigns and adapting content for multiple languages.
  • Basic VFX and rotoscoping skills.

Additional Information
Personal Attributes

  • Strong creative eye and craft pride — never settles for 'good enough'.
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven and calm under pressure in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Collaborative team player who takes direction well and contributes ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with strong QC discipline.
  • Curious about new tools, techniques and trends in content production.
