The service advisor acts as a bridge between the customer and the company, ensuring proper coordination of the repair works as per the customer’s requirements and company set standards and a direct link with the customer regarding repairs updates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcoming customers and ascertaining their vehicles repair needs.
- Opening vehicle job cards and clearly specifying the repairs to be undertaken.
- Giving repairs timelines to the customer and ensure strict adherence to the same through continuous customer updates on the progress.
- Preparing repair estimates and ensuring liaison with the customers for timely repair authority.
- Preparing invoices for the duly completed repair works and ensuring payments are made on the same.
- Monitor the repairs work in progress through liaising with the workshop procurement and technicians to ensure seamless repair works within the given timelines.
- Checking on the final repair works and ensuring they have been done to the company’s expected standards.
- Handling customer enquiries and complains promptly and professionally to customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining up-to date customer records and vehicle repairs and service reports.
