Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Installation

  • Coordinate shopfitters, electricians, and all site contractors for new activations.
  • Manage transportation, delivery, placement, and installation of chairs and equipment.
  • Oversee branding, signage, and promotional material setup at each location.
  • Maintain the storage facility and manage all inventory movements.
  • Execute equipment swap-outs and implement contingency plans to minimise downtime.

Operations & Maintenance

  • Facilitate repairs through managed service provider relationships.
  • Conduct regular site visits and quality checks across all active locations.
  • Manage branded clothing and promotional assets for all activations.

Staffing

  • Source, screen, and present promotional staff candidates for approval.
  • Train new staff using established scripts and onboarding protocols.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure full coverage across all activations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyse performance data via the Nayax application across all centres.
  • Provide regular reports comparing revenue targets against actual performance per site.
  • Identify underperforming and high-performing locations and recommend strategic interventions.
  • Flag operational issues and escalate with recommended corrective actions.

Business Development

  • Identify and evaluate new activation opportunities, including shopping centres, airports, and premium venues.
  • Conduct site visits with management to assess opportunities and obtain rental rates.
  • Initiate outreach and arrange meetings with prospective venue partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in activations, field operations, or project management.
  • Strong logistics and stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Tech-savvy and confident working with performance dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Valid South African driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of the relationship between operational performance and revenue generation.

Advantageous

  • Experience in retail activations, vending, or consumer technology environments.
  • Previous experience managing promotional staff or field teams.
  • Existing relationships with shopping centre management teams or landlords.

Package

Monthly Salary: R35,000 – R45,000 gross (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (1 August 2026 – 31 December 2026), with strong potential for permanent appointment
