Job Summary
- Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Administrative Officer with a strong background in Human Resources HR to support administrative operations and support workforce management.
- The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on administrative and HR experience and possess excellent organizational, communication, employee relations, and record-management skills.
Key Responsibilitie
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day administrative activities of the organization
- Manage employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement activities
- Support performance management and staff development initiatives
- Maintain office systems, records, files, and documentation
- Prepare reports, correspondence, memos, and other official documents
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management
- Assist in implementing administrative and HR policies and procedures
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and regulatory agencies when required
- Ensure confidentiality and proper management of sensitive employee and company information.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Administration and Human Resources mandatory
- Strong knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and personnel management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is an added advantage
- Experience in a construction, engineering, manufacturing, or corporate environment
- Knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices
- Familiarity with HR software and digital record management systems
