The Role
- This isn't your traditional editing gig.
- We are looking for a creator who lives at the intersection of AI innovation and high-quality video production.
- You will be responsible for generating unique AI-driven visual assets and turning them into polished, highly engaging videos for our marketing, branding, and social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Generation: Utilize advanced AI video and image generation tools e.g., Runway Gen-2, Midjourney, Sora, Pika, Stable Diffusion, or similar to conceptualize and create visually stunning digital assets from scratch.
- Video Editing: Cut, piece together, color-grade, and polish both AI-generated assets and traditional raw footage into high-converting videos.
- Audio & Effects: Integrate high-quality sound design, voiceovers traditional or AI-generated, background music, and motion graphics to elevate the final product.
- Storytelling: Script, storyboard, and structure short-form and long-form video content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all visual output aligns with the professional, innovative, and investment-focused identity of the company.
Requirements & Qualifications
- The Double Threat: Proven experience as both an AI content creator and a skilled video editor.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard editing suites Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut Pro AND deep familiarity with leading AI video/image prompt engineering tools.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing a mix of traditional editing skills and AI-generated video projects. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Proximity & Flexibility: Ability to commute to our office in Lagos 2 to 3 times a week for creative syncs, filming, and team collaboration.
- Speed & Creativity: A sharp eye for aesthetics, pacing, and modern visual trends, with the ability to deliver quality work on quick turnarounds.
