Assistant Resident Engineer

Applicants must have the following requirements: Must hold a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree, or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Social. Must be professionally registered with ECSA and SACPCMP. Must have at least 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering and construction projects. Must have experience in the administration and management of complex construction contracts. Must have proven experience on structural projects involving water-retaining structures. Must have been involved in at least three (3) projects with a construction value exceeding R250 million each. Must have sound knowledge and practical application of the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) 2010 and GCC 2015. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project. Must have a thorough understanding of site supervision, contract administration, and construction management on large-scale projects.
