Senior Finishing ForemanA leading construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Finishing Foreman to join their team on high-end residential and commercial building projects in the CBD area of Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all finishing trades on site to ensure quality workmanship and programme deadlines are achieved
- Manage subcontractors, labour teams, and daily site activities
- Ensure all finishes are completed to specification and client standards
- Coordinate snag lists, inspections, and handovers
- Maintain health & safety compliance on site
- Monitor materials, quality control, and productivity
- Work closely with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and project teams
Minimum Requirements- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential and commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of finishing trades including plastering, painting, tiling, ceilings, joinery, flooring, and final fit-offs
- Ability to read drawings and manage programmes effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Preferred Experience
- Experience on luxury residential developments and commercial projects
- Trade qualification or construction-related certification advantageous
