Senior Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor Required – Cape Town
A leading construction and building contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a high-end projects team based in the prestigious CBD area of Cape Town.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on premium residential and luxury development projects with a respected and fast-growing contractor known for delivering exceptional workmanship and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Managing project cost control and budgeting
- Preparing BOQs, estimates, and tender documentation
- Monitoring subcontractor claims and valuations
- Conducting site measurements and progress assessments
- Preparing monthly cost reports and forecasts
- Managing procurement processes and supplier negotiations
- Ensuring projects remain within financial targets
- Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients
Minimum Requirements- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Experience on residential or luxury building projects advantageous
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software packages
- Valid driver’s license
