Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process cash, card, and other electronic payments
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly

• Handle daily cash balancing and comply with cash-handling procedures

• Provide courteous and efficient service to customers at all times

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the counter area

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Provide assistance in the transaction process of money to be banked

Job Requirements:

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification

• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the FMCG or retail sector

• Basic numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Well versed with ERP systems and proficient in the MS Office package
• High degree of organizational skill, accuracy and confidentiality.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
