Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
- Assign tasks to construction workers, artisans, and contractors.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure all activities comply with approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate workers and contractors to maintain project schedules.
- Oversee the use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Enforce health and safety procedures on site.
- Identify and report construction issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain discipline and good working practices among site personnel.
- Prepare regular site progress reports for management.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is an asset.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workers and contractors effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
