We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager to lead and manage the design, development, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial environment.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for technical excellence, team leadership, project delivery, safety compliance, and continuous improvement, while contributing to strategic and financial objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the design, development, and approval of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including power distribution, motor control, PLC, SCADA, and DCS solutions
- Manage and mentor E&I engineers, technicians, and electricians, ensuring high technical standards, performance management, and skills development
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and performance validation of E&I systems in industrial and OEM environments
- Ensure full compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality systems (IEC, NEC, ISO, risk assessments, audits)
- Provide senior technical expertise and troubleshooting, including root cause analysis for complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation issues
- Plan and manage E&I projects, budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Drive system reliability, continuous improvement, and innovation through automation, predictive maintenance, and best‑practice engineering
- Act as the technical and departmental interface with executive leadership, clients, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
- ECSA Professional Registration (Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech Eng) highly desirable
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
- At least 3 years in a management or senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing complex industrial or OEM projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage performance
