We seek to recruit the following qualified and experienced Electrician based in Shamva.

About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team based in Shamva This position reports to the Electrical Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities
Perform daily and routine maintenance inspections and servicing of LV/MV switchgears, MCCs, transformers, VSDs/soft starters, hoists, pumps, conveyors, crushers, ventilation fans, and lighting to OEM specs and site Planned Maintenance schedules.
Attend to breakdowns within your area of responsibility, diagnosing faults, replace/repair motors, contactors, breakers,
relays, sensors, cabling, and terminations; restore systems safely and quickly to minimize downtime. Condition monitoring: Record load currents, temperatures, insulation resistance, vibration cues (electrical), and
breaker trip data; flag trends and propose component changeouts.
Ensure and enforce all housekeeping and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within work areas always.
Documentation: Complete work orders, update as built drawings/loop sheets, maintain asset histories, and capture
failure modes in the CMMS.

About You
50 ‘Level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
Class 1 Electrician Journeyman Certificate or equivalent trade qualification
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
