Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections and validate repair scope
- Execute full internal repairs and complete rebuilds of endoscopes
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and root cause failure analysis
- Perform calibration, alignment, and functional validation
- Carry out final inspection and approve devices for release
- Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians
- Drive continuous improvement in repair quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency
- Maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation
- Act as escalation point for complex repair issues
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- National Diploma in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Certification in major endoscope repair and rebuild (preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in endoscope repair, including complex repairs
- Proven experience in full disassembly, internal repair, and rebuild of flexible endoscopes
- Strong expertise in diagnostics and root cause analysis
- Advanced understanding of endoscope systems (optical, mechanical, and internal components)
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and regulatory quality standards
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical work
- Leadership and mentoring capability
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in repair tracking systems and MS Office
