Financial Accountant (Procuerment)

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Accounting degree or National Diploma in Accounting/Finance
• 3–5 years' relevant accounting experience
• Experience within the Hospitality industry is highly advantageous (Property industry experience will also be considered)
• Strong understanding of:
  • VAT and Tax compliance
  • Journal processing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial reporting
  • Audit preparation and support
  • IFRS standards
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process financial journals and month-end activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Manage VAT and tax-related reconciliations and submissions
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies
• Assist with procurement accounting and financial reporting
• Analyse financial data and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls
