REQUIREMENT:
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a General Manager within a game lodge environment
- Extensive experience in the South African game lodge and hospitality industry essential
- Strong understanding of lodge operations, guest experience, and service excellence
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple departments and large teams
- Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Relations operations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Own transport essential
- Stable employment history preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all lodge departments
- Drive guest satisfaction and ensure consistently high service standards
- Manage departmental heads and support staff development initiatives
- Oversee budgets, financial controls, and operational profitability
- Monitor lodge performance and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
- Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and stock controls
- Handle guest feedback and maintain the lodge's reputation for excellence
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property and all guest-facing operations
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
