Employment Information
A Grader Operator is required to prepare and level construction surfaces. The successful candidate will operate grading equipment safely, interpret site plans and achieve specified levels while maintaining equipment readiness.
Duties and responsibilities
• Operate a grader to prepare and level surfaces accurately.
• Interpret construction drawings and grade stakes to achieve required finished levels.
• Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and routine maintenance.
• Follow all site safety regulations and operating procedures.
Qualifications
• At least two years’ experience operating a grader for a construction company.
• Valid Class 2 driver’s licence or a relevant heavy vehicle licence.
• Relevant operator certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
• Strong understanding of grading techniques, slope calculations and site plans.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
