We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to lead foundation research, grant writing, and application management for a non-profit real estate development. This role will play a critical part in securing funding for early design, planning, and construction efforts. Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- 5-8years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks seamlessly
- Excellent ability to speak and write English language
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Experience in grant research and writing. non-profit or consulting experience preferred.
- Diligent, high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good at building stakeholders relationships.
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision in a start-up environment.
- Proactive, with good decision-making capacity.
- Passion for education, children’s, programming, arts, or community development is a plus.
- Must be mature, courteous, reliable.
Key Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive research to identify foundations and funding opportunities aligned with the business objectives.
- Identify grants that support real estate pre-development, capital campaigns, and cultural institutions.
- Prepare, write, and submit compelling grant applications and supporting materials.
- Track all grant applications from submission through award decision, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
- Monitor grant cycles and maintain a pipeline of upcoming opportunities, including tracking currently closed grants and preparing for future submissions.
- Develop and maintain a centralized grant tracking system e.g., spreadsheet or CRM.
- Collaborate with the founder to gather necessary materials, narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation.
- Provide regular updates on funding pipeline, application status, and upcoming opportunities
