Remuneration: From Ksh 20,000/= plus commissions

Role Objective:

  • Our client, operating within the automotive sector, is seeking to recruit energetic, customer-oriented, and target-driven Junior Sales Officers. The successful candidates will play a key role in expanding customer reach, driving vehicle-related product/service sales, and strengthening client relationships to support overall business growth.

Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and engage new customers to grow the client base within the automotive market 
  • Promote and sell automotive workshop services, spare parts, and related products to individual and corporate clients 
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and provide clear, accurate product and service information 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty 
  • Achieve set sales targets and contribute to revenue growth 
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports 
  • Follow up on leads and convert prospects into active and repeat customers 
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, ensuring timely resolution 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and transactions 
  • Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand visibility activities within the automotive business 
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the automotive industry 
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences, demand trends, and product/service performance 
  • Ensure proper display and presentation of automotive products and services where applicable 
  • Perform any other sales-related duties as may be assigned

Job Specifications and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; experience in a workshop or technical environment will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
