Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to approved recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of meals.
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the Chef or Manager.
- Store food items properly and ensure freshness of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting food deliveries.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management related to kitchen operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering service, or similar food preparation environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet customer demand during busy periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Educational Qualifications
- Minimum of a Junior High School (JHS), Senior High School (SHS), Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Formal training in catering, hospitality, or culinary arts is an added advantage.
