Job description
JOB TITLE: LIGHT TRUCK DRIVER (2 Positions)
Location: Lusaka
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure timely and safe delivery of fresh bakery products to customers, supermarkets, and retail outlets within Lusaka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Drive light truck (C1) to deliver bakery products on scheduled routes
-
Must be very familiar with Lusaka routes, compounds, malls, and supermarkets

Ensure bakery products are loaded, handled, and offloaded carefully to avoid damage
-
Maintain freshness and quality during transit
-
Collect delivery notes, invoices, empty crates, and payments where required
-
Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy
-
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and fuel
-
Observe food hygiene, safety, and traffic regulations
-
Work early morning hours including weekends and public holidays
REQUIREMENTS
-
Valid C1 Driving Licence
-
At least 2 years experience delivering bakery / perishable goods
-
Excellent knowledge of Lusaka routes
-
Trustworthy, time-conscious, and customer-friendly
