Position: Line Cook (Male/Female)
Glamville is looking for a skilled, energetic, and dependable Line Cook to prepare exceptional dishes and support our culinary brigade in Lusaka.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:
- Gender: Open to Male and Female candidates.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or commercial food service setting.
- Key Trait: Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration under high-pressure kitchen conditions.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and preparation techniques.
- Dedication to food safety, hygiene standards, and speed of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients before service.
- Cook and prepare menu items in accordance with established recipes, specifications, and portion sizes.
- Collaborate smoothly with fellow line cooks and the Executive Chef to ensure orders leave the pass promptly.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and sanitized cooking surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, dating, and adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.
