Live-In Childcare / Family Support Assistant

Working Arrangement

* Sleep-in position from Monday to Wednesday every second week
* The role may increase as work commitments become more demanding
* Any additional days worked will be reimbursed accordingly
* Flexibility and availability on occasion will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

* Take the children to school and collect them in the afternoons
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
* Assist with afternoon and evening routines
* Ensure the children are prepared for school and activities
* Offer dependable support to the mother when she is travelling or working extended hours
* Maintain good communication with the parent regarding the children’s schedules and needs

Requirements

* Mature, trustworthy, and responsible lady
* Previous childcare, au pair, teaching, or parenting experience preferred
* Must enjoy working with children and have a patient, caring nature
* Reliable and organised
* Valid driver’s licence essential
* Must have a reliable vehicle
* Non-smoker preferred
* Afrikaans and English proficiency advantageous
* Contactable references required

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit a compassionate and dependable individual who is looking for a stable, long-term position supporting a busy family environment. A retired teacher, experienced au pair, or mature caregiver would be highly suitable.

Salary: R 8 500.00 per month
