Maintenance Manager

We’re Hiring! Maintenance Manager – Hoedspruit ? ? Location: Hoedspruit, South Africa ? Closing date: ASAP Salary: ±R40000-R55000 – Housing Job purpose We are seeking an energetic, creative, and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead our facility maintenance team with a strong focus on maintenance and planning. This role is critical in ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. The Maintenance Manager will oversee staff, develop and manage maintenance schedules, plan facility improvement projects, and ensure timely execution through effective coordination and resource management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to planning are key to success in this role. Qualifications and experience • A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in maintenance management and planning • A minimum of 1 years’ hands-on experience in maintenance or a related trade (Mechanical/Electrical) • Holds a relevant qualification in maintenance planning, management, or in the mechanical or electrical field • Packhouse experience will be an advantage ? What you’ll do: • Scheduling and project management • Planning, managing and controlling the maintenance budgets. • Manage a proactive preventative maintenance strategy. • Conduct frequent walkthroughs and regular inspections to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility and ensure the proper working of all electrical units and mechanical systems in the facility. • Keep records of all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility and place orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement and ascertaining the proper documentation of the same. • Plan and oversee all repairs and installation activities. • Managing and planning a digital maintenance system (CMMS). • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures, ensure Occupational safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while carrying out maintenance functions. ?
