This is an engineering-first leadership role within a manufacturing environment. We are not looking for a purely operational, production, maintenance-only, or corporate engineering profile.
The role leads Engineering, Maintenance and the Toolroom and requires someone who understands how product engineering, manufacturing processes, reliability, asset care, and production support integrate on the factory floor.
The successful candidate must have a strong combination of:
• Engineering leadership
• Manufacturing engineering exposure
• Maintenance and reliability leadership
• Toolroom and/or machining environment exposure
• Precision or high-volume manufacturing experience
• Strong systems and technical governance capability
We are specifically looking for candidates who:
• Hold a BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Have 10 to 15 years manufacturing experience
• Have at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles
• Have led engineering managers, maintenance managers, and technical teams
• Understand engineering systems, BOM governance, manufacturing support, reliability, and
CAPEX
• Have worked in machining, fabrication, assembly, precision engineering, automotive, defence,
or similar manufacturing environments
• Are comfortable operating in high-accountability environments
• Demonstrate practical leadership and strong ownership
• Are technically credible and comfortable on the factory floor
