REBA is one of the largest, fastest growing engineering machinery and heavy equipment centers in Zambia, providing a comprehensive and life-long service.
We are still hiring for the position of MECHANIC TECHNICIAN – HEAVY EQUIPMENT & TRUCKS

LOCATION: Copperbelt Province, Chambishi
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement).
- Trade Test / Craft Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics / Automotive Engineering.
- Additional training in diesel engine systems, ideally Cummins engine training, is desirable.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Technician on heavy-duty equipment and trucks.
- Hands-on experience with Cummins engines.
- Experience working on XCMG equipment, Sinotruk / Sino truck, and other similar brands is highly desirable.
- Experience in industrial, construction, mining or logistics fleet maintenance.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and repair skills for diesel engines and heavy-duty systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of safety standards and PPE use.
