Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialised diagnostic tests in haematology, microbiology, chemistry, and serology.
• Collect, process, and analyse patient samples with precision and efficiency.
• Validate and record test results, ensuring timely delivery to physicians for patient management.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Implement and monitor internal and external quality-control programs in accordance with clinical standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control, and ethical laboratory practices.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and manage patient data with confidentiality.
• Provide support to physicians and nurses by interpreting laboratory results where required.

Requirements:

• Must have relevant qualifications and certifications.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical/laboratory setting.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment handling.  
• Strong technical knowledge across core laboratory disciplines (haematology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.).
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and patient-centred care. 

Location: Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 180,000

Work Mode: Monday - Saturday(Alternate Saturdays)
