Operating Theater Nurse Position We are currently recruiting an Operating Theater Nurse who will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety within the operating theatre.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Certificate or Diploma in Theatre/Operating Theatre Nursing is highly preferred.
- Valid practising licence issued by the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNCZ).
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a busy operating theatre environment.
Key Skills Required:
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, focus, and physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- ICU / Critical Care Nurse Opportunities FriendCare Hospital invites applications from experienced ICU nurses to provide critical care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in Critical Care Nursing.
- Valid, active, and unencumbered practising licence from the GNCZ.
- 2 to 5 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit or Critical Care setting.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in patient assessment, haemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation management.
- Proficiency in emergency response protocols and critical decision-making.
- Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
