Responsibilities
- Supporting surgical procedures
- Ensuring patient safety within the operating theatre
Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, focus, and physical stamina
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Certificate or Diploma in Theatre/Operating Theatre Nursing is highly preferred
- Valid practising licence issued by the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNCZ)
