Position: Planner (1 Position) | Location: Kitwe, Copperbelt
Dali Mining Machinery Zambia Ltd is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Planner based in Kitwe.
Location: Chingola Road, opposite Epiroc, Kitwe, Copperbelt Province
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule maintenance, overhauls, and repairs for heavy mining equipment and machinery.
- Coordinate spare parts forecasting, procurement requests, workshop schedules, and resource planning.
- Track machine operating hours, maintenance logs, and component replacement intervals.
- Generate detailed maintenance planning reports, downtime tracking, and fleet availability statistics.
- Collaborate with workshop supervisors, technicians, and project teams to optimize equipment utilization.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Maintenance Planning.
- Relevant experience in maintenance planning or workshop planning within the mining/heavy machinery sector.
- Updated Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) registration where applicable.
- Silicosis certificate or relevant documentation as specified.
- Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance management software (CMMS).
